The COLRE Board of Directors took some time away from the CSLEA Conference to tend to affiliate business over the weekend. Foremost was the re-election of officers. COLRE Board honored for driving the extra miles for CAUSE members
The scariest miles by day and the loneliest by night. There is no diamond lane for the tough and tireless women who make up the COLRE Board of Directors. But at the CAUSE Conference over the Veterans’ Day weekend in San Diego, all three made a pit stop long enough to receive certificates of appreciation and the heart-felt thanks and praise from their peers for their work in bettering the lives of all CAUSE members. COLRE member killed in line of duty
Service set for Tuesday, July 18
The COLRE family lost one of its own when Licensing Registration Examiner David Gallegos was struck and killed Tuesday, July 11, while administering a driving test in San Ysidro.
Gallegos and the drive test applicant were stopped at Palm Avenue when they were struck by a Buick sports utility vehicle, according to 10News. More... |
