MEMBER SERVICES STAFF
| In December 2005, CSLEA hired Paul E. Satkowski as Director of Member Services to honor its promise that members would see a greater presence of CSLEA representatives throughout the State. The objective of Member Services is to “outreach” with newly hired state employees and current members to enhance a positive relationship by educational seminars focused on CSLEA’s infrastructure and services and to develop a multi-level communications system to respond to members’ concerns, violations of contract, and collective bargaining suggestions. From its inception, Member Services began educating members about CSLEA’s mission and benefits by workplace site visits; by attendance at new employee orientations, in-service trainings, and at police academies; and by formal membership meetings held throughout the State. Member Services works under the guidance of the Membership Committee, Chaired by Richard Carrillo, AMVIC Director and Unit A Vice-President, to develop effective and efficient strategies to best coordinate meetings with CSLEA’s state-wide membership. |
